TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer III in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for providing technical support to the field organization, digital content management, site visits, written instructions and training with comprehensive knowledge of multiple product lines while supporting the department manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provides technical assistance to the field organization covering most of the company’s current portfolio via digital content management.
- Leads the preparation of product support content for field use.
- Instructs others technically in products and processes.
- Creates digital performance feedback to the Operations, Quality, R&D Engineering and Manufacturing Groups.
- Trains Field Mechanics and Support Engineers, I-III as needed.
- Must be a subject matter expert in one or more product lines and components.
- Works under the minimal supervision of direct manager.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field of study or 10 years relevant elevator work experience.
- QEI Certification preferred.
- NEIEP or NEII Certification or equivalent experience.
- OSHA 10hr Certificate.
- Ten (10) years or more equivalent elevator work experience required.
- Strong work experience or education in one of the following: hydraulics, static motor drives, machines, microprocessors and electronics.
- Experience working in digital content & guided diagnostics delivery systems
- Experience working with Quality management & tracking systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work with test equipment and hand tools as required.
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated strong decision making and analytical skills.
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate; written and verbal.
- Must be able to closely follow instructions and pre-established procedures/SOP to perform the functions of the job.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
