TK Elevator is currently seeking an Internal Communications Specialist II located in Atlanta, GA.
We are seeking a dynamic Communications Specialist who can make an immediate impact—crafting compelling messages, managing our editorial calendar as well as multiple projects to engage our 5,000+ team. Leverage your strong writing and production skills to develop clear, engaging content across our channels, using an email marketing platform and SharePoint. Success on day one requires a highly-organized mindset, the ability to juggle competing demands with precision and an enthusiastic, enterprising approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. You will be part of the Internal Communications team that advances TK Elevator’s goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop a command for the elevator industry/business including technical properties of products and market trends
- Develop and edit high-quality, mistake-free content including: internal communications, intranet content (SharePoint preferred), feature writing, video script writing, general content and correspondence
- Utilize automated email marketing system (preferably Marketo) to create engaging emails, landing pages, and forms.
- Manage approvals and facilitate revisions, and modifications to ensure seamless execution
- Generate comprehensive reports on effectiveness metrics, encompassing open rates, click rates, lead rates, and other campaigns metrics
- Create and manage editorial calendar
- Edit and proof content generated by communication team and internal stakeholders
- Research stories, conduct interviews and work with graphics designers to create news stories and distribute via various channels
- Develop relationships with and work with internal stakeholders to develop clear messages and content that engages employees
- Respond to feedback in a timely manner and possess ability to work within tight deadline while handling changes on the fly
- Work with designers, illustrators, printers, photographers and production companies to develop creative and executable ideas for campaigns
- Oversee engagement campaigns from production to completion
- Support execution of Town Halls, Leadership updates, & annual offsite meetings and events.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BA degree, preferably in Communications or Journalism.
- Minimum of three to four years writing experience is required.
- 2 to 3 year’s experience with email marketing platforms, such as Marketo ( preferred) , Eloqua, MailChimp, etc.
- 2 to 3 year’s experience posting news on SharePoint
- Proven ability to effectively organize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal skills including editing and proofing. Knowledge of AP style is a must.
- Flexibility in writing style required for various content channels
- Ability to build positive relationships with departments and employees across the organization/globe
- Ability to integrate research and creative work concepts into daily activity
- Positive, flexible and enterprising attitude that lends itself to effective communications and teamwork
- Thrives as a contributor on an enterprising, diverse and creative team
- Demonstrates a thirst for knowledge and learning, and continual improvement in communications skills
- Efficiency in word processing, reporting and PowerPoint presentations. Proficiency with Microsoft tools required and Adobe Creative Suite is helpful
